Over the past ten years, Giving Tuesday has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate the nonprofits in their communities. This year, we are asking for donations to support the educational programs at Thomas Dunn Learning Center. Can you help?

Education is one of our core principles. Through our high school equivalency tutoring program, we provide individualized support to students through tutoring and guided self study. Our approach helped recent graduate, Susan, and so many others who came to our program after other programs didn’t work for them.
Celebrate Susan's Sucess
Susan joined our program in 2020 after being out of school for 20 years. She dreams of a career helping others and wants to get her degree in human services. To reach this goal, she first needed to have a high school diploma. She knew it wouldn’t be easy but she is no stranger to hard work. With her tenacity and patience, Susan achieved her certificate in February 2022. Read more of Susan’s story and join us in celebrating her huge accomplishment.
Stories like Susan’s are why we do this important work. She immediately started college courses at St. Louis Community College. In Fall 2022, Susan was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and continues excelling in her college classes while working each semester. $20 to Support A Student on Giving Tuesday!
Have an extra $20 to spare? A donation of $20 covers the cost of one exam for a student at Thomas Dunn Learning Center. Each student must pass 5 tests to achieve their high school equivalency certificate. We pay for all of our student’s exams once they are in our high school equivalency tutoring program.
Are you able to give a more?
$100 pays for all five of one student’s exams required to get their certificate.
